Meet Lauren
I've always had a deep love for dogs and the unique way they experience the world. Over the years, that passion led me into dog training, behavior work, and rescue advocacy, where I learned how to better understand and support dogs through all kinds of situations.
When I began working weddings throughout Central Oregon, I noticed something that stayed with me. Couples wanted their dogs included in one of the most important days of their lives, but there was rarely someone whose sole focus was the dog's wellbeing.
That's why I created Bark & Bridal Co.
While family and friends are focused on celebrating, my focus is entirely on your dog. Their comfort, safety, happiness, and emotional wellbeing come first, allowing you to enjoy your wedding day knowing they're cared for every step of the way.
The experience behind the leash
Bark & Bridal Co. was built on years of real, hands-on experience with dogs—not just as a pet owner, but as a professional trainer. I spent years teaching puppy, beginner, intermediate, and advanced obedience classes, as well as private one-on-one sessions tailored to each dog's unique needs and personality.
A big part of that work was partnering closely with animal rescues, helping new adopters understand the emotional journey both the dog and owner go through when settling into a new home.
Breaking old behaviors, building trust, and learning to read the subtle signs a dog gives you—that kind of intuition doesn't come from a textbook. It comes from thousands of hours spent with dogs, watching, listening, and responding to how they feel.
I've always had a deep connection to dogs and the way they communicate. I can often recognize when a dog is becoming overwhelmed before it shows on the outside, allowing me to adjust, redirect, or give them the support they need before stress takes over.
On a wedding day, that means your dog isn't just being supervised—they're being understood. Whether they need encouragement, structure, exercise, reassurance, or simply a quiet break from the excitement, my focus is on helping them feel comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout the celebration.
Already inside the wedding world
Beyond dog training, I've spent years working behind the scenes at weddings throughout Central Oregon. That experience has given me a firsthand understanding of how wedding days move—the timelines, vendor communication, and the way a schedule shifts and flows from getting ready through cocktail hour and into the reception.
I've worked alongside planners, photographers, caterers, DJs, venue teams, and other wedding professionals, and I understand how to stay in my lane while remaining completely in sync with everyone else involved.
With Bark & Bridal Co., I'm able to build on those existing relationships and seamlessly integrate into your wedding day—not as an outsider learning the rhythm, but as someone who already understands it.
The result is a smoother, calmer experience for your dog—and the freedom for you to be fully present with your family, friends, and the moments that matter most.
Your dog is part of your story — and they deserve to be part of your wedding day too.
